STUDIO BUMBULI SUPPORTS THE WORK OF VISIONS FOR CHILDREN E.V.
Due to the critical situation people are currently facing in Afghanistan, we decided to make a contribution to supporting the people in the country.
There are certainly many associations, organisations or institutions that do very good work - after our research, we decided on the non-profit, registered association Visions for Children e.V. from Hamburg.
The focus of the work of Visions for Children e.V. is to improve the living conditions and quality of education in schools in war and crisis areas. For this purpose, school buildings are not only built or extended and classrooms are equipped with basic inventory and materials, but sanitary facilities are also improved and training courses and workshops are held on site. The association is currently active in Uganda and Afghanistan.
Education is one of the basic prerequisites for improving living conditions. Nevertheless, around 60 million children worldwide still grow up without being able to attend school. Especially in war and crisis areas, children often have no chance.
With the vision that every child should learn to read and write, Visions for Children e.V. wants to change this and has been actively campaigning for this since 2006.
In addition to this, Visions for Children e.V. regularly sets up so-called humanitarian emergency aid, such as currently: With a fundraising campaign for Afghanistan, the association wants to provide internally displaced persons in Kabul with the most basic necessities and at the same time secure the continued financing of existing school projects.
We think this is a great initiative and would like to support this work in the long term. From now on, for every Little Bathrobe you order in our online shop, we will donate 1€ to Visions for Children e.V. from Hamburg. We hope that we can make a positive contribution to the current situation of the people in Afghanistan.
