Which size should I buy?
To make it easier for you we have chosen to express our sizes in both ages and height. However, every child is different and also sizes may differ from brand to brand. To help you choose the right size, we provide a little size guide. We try to provide additional size and fit information for each product on the product page. If you are in doubt between two sizes, we generally advice to choose the larger one, as kids already grow up fast enough and that way you can get more wear out of your garment. You are welcome to write us an E-mail if you still have any question!
Is the organic cotton certified?
Yes, our fabrics are made with certified organic cotton and the fabrics are GOTS-certified. The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised as the world's leading standard for processing textiles made from organically produced natural fibres. It defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain and at the same time requires compliance with social criteria. However, you will not find a GOTS-logo in our garments, because we as a small business (and also the small family business we work with) do not have a GOTS-certification ourselves.

How should I wash the bumbuli clothes?
Our products are washable, gently at 30°C. Do not bleach or tumble dry and do not iron at high temperature and void dry cleaning.
Will there be a shrinkage after washing?
Yes, organic cotton naturally shrinks a bit after washing. Please be aware that a shrinkage from 3-5% is normal. To minimize it the fabrics for the Long Nightdress and the Two-Piece-Pyjamas are prewashed. You can partly avoid shrinkage by not washing above 30 degrees, not using the tumble dryer and not using a hot iron.
Do you like our photos?
We are also completely in love!
We have been working with photographer Timmy Hargesheimer since 2020, and Martina Hargesheimer is responsible for the set design in the studio. The two of them are an unbeatable team and it is a great pleasure to be able to work with them!
The photos of our 19/20 collection are by julili Photography. In addition to photo shoots, Juliane also offers family photo sessions, which we can highly recommend - she has a very natural flair for special moments with children.
